Preparing to open

What Sterling is preparing to offer.

Not every dog thrives in a loud, one-size-fits-all daycare or boarding environment. Sterling is being built for families who want something calmer, more structured, and more attentive. Our routines are shaped by each dog’s size, temperament, comfort, and social fit, with the same calm, attentive standard guiding every dog in our care. Future daycare and boarding will begin with evaluation and intake approval. Joining the interest list is non-binding.

Daytime care

Daycare interest

Structured daytime care with small, supervised groups of compatible dogs, balanced with play, rest, and quieter moments.

Overnight care

Boarding interest

Overnight care with rest, gentle check-ins, enrichment, and clear owner communication based on each dog’s plan.

Recurring routine

Membership-style care interest

Recurring routines for dogs who visit regularly and benefit from predictable, structured care.

CalmTrack™ method

Care matched to the dog, not one-size-fits-all.

CalmTrack™ is Sterling’s fit-based care method for observing each dog, matching the day to their needs, and communicating clearly with owners.

Observe

We take time to understand each dog’s temperament, energy, comfort, social signals, and how they settle into a calm space.

Observe

We take time to understand each dog’s temperament, energy, comfort, social signals, and how they settle into a calm space.

The goal is to see the dog in front of us before deciding what kind of day fits best.

Match

We plan compatible small-group time and the balance of structured play, rest, and quieter moments based on observation, care notes, social fit, and the day’s capacity.

Care routines remain fit-based and observation-led throughout the day.

Communicate

We keep owners informed with clear, plain-language notes about how their dog’s day was planned and how it went.

Communication is part of the care method, not an afterthought.

CalmTrack™ is a care method — not an app, a portal, a training program, a behavior program, veterinary care, or a guaranteed outcome.

Why this matters

Choosing where to leave your dog is a big trust decision.

These are the principles Sterling is being built around — and why they matter before day one.

Calm structure

Predictable routines and a calm environment help dogs settle, instead of being wound up by a noisy free-for-all.

Fit-based care

Care routines consider each dog’s size, temperament, comfort, care notes, and observation, with compatible grouping, rest, and clear supervision.
